Information We Collect

Personal Information

Name or username (optional — only when provided by you)
Email address — used for authentication, notifications, and support communications

Usage & Activity Information

Anonymous usage statistics (page views, feature interactions, session duration)
Device type, browser, and operating system information
IP address — used for security, fraud prevention, geographic analytics, and engagement ranking
Referral sources and navigation patterns within the platform

User-Submitted Content

Resources, brand posts, comments, and drafts you create or submit

VTechX Intelligence & Enrichment Data

Pipeline scores assigned to content by VTechX Scout, Scribe, Editor, and Signal (internal only, not exposed publicly)
AI-enriched metadata generated during pipeline processing (summaries, keywords, categories)
Engagement signals used by VTechX Signal for rankScore computation (anonymous, not personally identifiable)

Contributor & Payment Information

Contributor profile data: display name, bio, social links — collected only when provided by you during Contributor Program registration
Article submission data: title, content, status, credits consumed, and submission timestamps
Payment records: order ID, payment amount, payment method type, and transaction status — processed via Razorpay. VTechX Hub does not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or UPI credentials
Article credit balance and credit transaction history (purchases and per-article deductions)

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Provide access to the Creator Dashboard, publishing tools, and account features
Display content health insights and AI-generated improvement suggestions
Review, approve, or reject submitted content based on quality and compliance
Improve platform performance, pipeline accuracy, and system reliability
Send important updates — including approval, rejection, and policy notification emails
Maintain platform integrity, security, and automated moderation
Process content through our VTechX Intelligence Engine for scoring, enrichment, and ranking
Compute engagement-based rankings and apply freshness decay to intelligence feed items
Personalise platform experience based on reading history and engagement (anonymised)

VTechX Intelligence Data Processing

Every article that enters the VTechX Hub intelligence feed passes through the VTechX Intelligence Engine. Here is what is processed and stored at each stage:

VTechX Scout

Source URL, publication date, article metadata, initial relevance score. No personal user data is involved at this stage.

VTechX Scribe

Article content is sent to AI model APIs for summarisation and enrichment. Outputs are stored as enriched metadata, not raw article text. No personal user data is transmitted to AI providers.

VTechX Editor

Originality score (0–10), quality score (0–10), legal risk level. All stored internally in pipeline logs. Auto-rejected content is flagged and not published.

VTechX Signal

rankScore, freshness decay factor, engagement signals. These scores determine feed position. All data is internal and not exposed via public APIs.

agent_pipeline_logs table: Each article's full pipeline run — including agent outputs, scores, step timestamps, and error states — is stored in theagent_pipeline_logsdatabase table. These logs are internal, not publicly accessible, and are used solely for pipeline debugging, admin oversight, and audit trail purposes.

Pipeline scores are internal operational data. They are never sold, licensed, or exposed publicly. Admin overrides of pipeline decisions are logged with full audit trail.

Content Visibility & Indexing

Content submitted to VTechX Hub may be categorised as regular, guest, or brand content. Visibility and search engine indexing are governed by platform rules and pipeline ranking, not manual editorial promotion.

All user-submitted content requires admin approval before publication
Guest or promotional posts appear in dedicated sections, clearly labelled
Homepage and intelligence feed placement is determined by the VTechX Signal rankScore
Search engine indexing may be enabled or disabled per content type and admin settings
Pipeline-curated intelligence feed articles carry source attribution where available

AI Tools & Insights

VTechX Hub provides optional AI-powered writing and analysis tools to help creators improve readability, structure, and content quality. These tools are powered by the same VTechX Scout / Scribe / Editor / Signal infrastructure used for the intelligence feed, alongside direct AI model integrations.

AI tools process only the text you explicitly provide for a requested action
Content generators, summarisers, and grammar checkers send input text to AI model APIs (OpenAI / Anthropic / Groq) solely for the requested operation
We may store anonymised usage statistics (e.g. request counts per feature) for platform analytics — never the raw text inputs
AI tool outputs are generated dynamically and are not stored, reused across users, or used for model training
The daily pipeline cron job enriches intelligence feed articles automatically; this enrichment is not triggered by user action

We do not use private drafts or unpublished user content for model training, redistribution, or any purpose beyond the explicitly requested operation.

Engagement Tracking

VTechX Hub tracks article engagement to power the VTechX Signal ranking system. Here is exactly what is tracked and what is not:

Anonymous IP address hash (for deduplication only)
Approximate geographic region (country-level)
Timestamp of view event

What is NOT tracked

Individual user reading profiles
Cross-session tracking linked to identity
Personally identifiable engagement data
Reading history tied to your account

Engagement data feeds into VTechX Signal's rankScore computation. No personal profile is built from engagement tracking — it is aggregate signal data, not individual surveillance.

What We Do NOT Do

✕We do not share your email address with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing services.
✕We do not publish your content without your explicit action or admin approval.
✕We do not copy or republish copyrighted news or YouTube content directly. External media is shown only through official APIs or authorised embeds.
✕We do not sell VTechX Intelligence Engine scores, rankScores, or originality/quality ratings to any external party.
✕We do not expose agent_pipeline_logs data publicly or via any API.
✕We do not use your private drafts or unpublished content to train AI models.
✕We do not build personal advertising profiles from engagement tracking data.

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar browser technologies to improve usability, maintain session state, measure platform performance, and enhance user experience.

Authentication tokens: JSON Web Token (JWT) stored in browser localStorage — short-lived 30-minute access tokens; not stored in cookies
Preference cookies: store lightweight UI preferences (theme, display settings)
Analytics cookies: measure page performance, traffic sources, and feature usage — anonymised
Cookies do not store sensitive personal data such as passwords, financial information, or identifiers

You can control cookie behaviour through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect platform functionality, including authentication.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data. Key practices include:

JWT-based authentication — cryptographically signed access tokens (30-minute lifetime) validated server-side on every API request
All API communication is AES-encrypted in transit; tokens are short-lived and automatically rotated via a secure refresh mechanism
Encrypted tokens for sensitive session data in transit and at rest
Database access controls, principle of least privilege, and regular security reviews
Background job queues run in isolated environments with controlled concurrency
All admin operations and pipeline overrides are fully audit-logged

While we strive to safeguard your information, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security against all possible threats.

Third-Party Services

VTechX Hub integrates with third-party services to power its VTechX Intelligence Engine and platform features. The following services process data as part of platform operations:

OpenAI API

Used by VTechX Scribe and other pipeline agents for content generation, summarisation, and enrichment. Inputs are processed under OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

Anthropic API

Used for AI analysis and editorial tasks within the pipeline. Inputs are processed per Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

Groq API

Primary provider for the VTechX AI Chat (/ask) feature. Query text sent to Groq is processed under Groq's Privacy Policy. User queries are not stored or used for model training.

Google AdSense

VTechX Hub displays ads through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out via Google Ads Settings. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Razorpay

Payment gateway for the VTechX Contributor Program (one-time ₹499 purchase). Razorpay processes payment data under Razorpay's Privacy Policy. VTechX Hub stores only order ID, transaction status, and payment amount — never card numbers, CVV codes, or UPI credentials.

We do not pass personally identifiable user data to AI model APIs — only article content required for the requested AI operation is transmitted. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy and terms of service.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data and account:
